They get way too big, guy. Your leo might be able to eat the nymphs, but a full grown madagascar hissing roach is about 4 inches long and almost an inch wide.

I'd recommend dubia blaptica, aka orange spotted roach, aka Guyana spotted cockroach. Apparently many people have used them with great results. As adults they must not get too big. I've never seen one in person so I'm not sure.

Variety is good, great suggestions Cas, you could use the hisser nymphs to feed your leo and use the adults to produce more feeders. there"s also dwarf hissers.

Honestly, if you want to feed roaches, go with Dubia. They are a fantastic feeder, and the adult males are the perfect size to feed sub adult, and adult leopard geckos.
