My 1st hatchling!

My egg has been dented for about 2 weeks and I was sure it was done. I just asked my son if he checked the eggs today and he came tearing upstairs yelling theres a baby!!! It hisses at me like crazy! Is that normal for a hatchling?

Yes, the little ones hiss. They eventually stop. That's a nice big hatchling!

I'm still waiting for my first geckos to hatch. I am getting very impatient because it has been over 65 days now and I was told somewhere in the 55-60 day range. Oh, well, I am going to have to start to learn patience sometime.
