I decided to start feeding crix instead of mealworms so I set up a cricket colony. Here it is!

The pics won't work but I will explain it. On one side of the tank I have paper towels with half a egg carton, a water bowl which is really that gel stuff, a food bowl (vitamins), and I usually give them sliced carrots or fish flakes. On the other side i have cocoa bark about a inch thick for them to lay eggs in. I know I should of done a lay box or something but by that time I had already set up when I found out. It is in a 10 gallon aquarium, 75 degrees during the day, 70 at night. I was told by a Pet store associate to keep the tank cold around 70. Is this true. I have 50 crix in it. I hope it works out.
