My levis not such a good hunter

I have a male levis about 3 years old now and he's not as plump as I would like him to be like Marcia's levis. any way I have always been coshous about how many crickets I put in with him but lately I have been giving him some extra no deferents in weight and then I checked the tank for excess crickets and got them out of there and then I thought well maybe I will pull the legs of the crickets and make them slower so I did. I put about 3 or 4 in with him and in about 12 tries he still couldn't get one. miss miss miss....
has anyone else had this experience with their levis and if so what was the solution?

Hmmm..maybe his sight is not too good? Maybe try feeding him with feeding tweezers.

I find my gex eat a lot more crickets when they some access to light at night. Generally i leave the curtain over a chair so they get some moon light as i found they werent eating as much as expected in a totally dark room
