I found out what it was! Mouthrot... it affected the mouth then spread to other parts of the body, spreading infection. Unfournatley some of our geckos passed away, but now you know to immediatley get treatment if some yellow puss shows up in your geckos mouth.

Thank you for the info - wasn't sure if the yellow plaque was mouth rot or not as I had only seen it as a solid material in the gums, never as a loose material in the mouth. The thing is that mouth-rot is usually a secondary infection - for mine it started well after the initial symptoms & the face swelling so I'm still wondering if there was something else that caused the initial problem. Really sorry for your loss - and thank you for sharing what you found out.

Sorry for your losses too. One lady I was talking too said the mediaction issued could have held back the mouthrot in the mouth, while it affected other parts of the body. Just a guess.
