Hey, I wasnt sure where else to post this one, but since Im new here I figured this would be alright. Anyway, a few days ago I brought home a mystery gecko. I know, youre not supposed to buy animals without knowing what they are, but leaving this poor thing in the store was a death sentence. Over about a 3 week period, I stopped in numerous times to check on this gecko. Not once did it have water (the dish was completely dry), not once did I see any food provided, and the cage was filthy. I kept asking what kind of gecko is this, and could never get an answer. The dude tried to tell me it was a leopard gecko! Anyway, I got a tentative ID as Paroedura pictus from the reptile channel forum, I just wanted to see if any of you had any other ideas. Thanks for the help and advice.
