New amel male, and pic of my hatchling

Hi all, I've been absent.
I just got a new male AFT amel. I also took some pics of my first AFt hatchling I hatched last season.

Cracker, my new amel male in quarentine,

And my hatchling(Please tell me what you think of him/her).

He isn't nearly the same coloration as mom and dad. I'm sure that's because he's young or something, but he looks so special to me. I don't see any pores to indicate sex, but then, he's only 8 grams! He's grown very well, gaining a whole gram in about a month I think. He doesn't like mealworms though, so he eats mainly crickets.

Wow I spent like 10mins reading the news paper haha lol/ Love the Amel! And the hatchling is very nice whats the pairing?

The dad was het amel, mom het amel. Both banded normal, dark brown and such.

Pic of mom when I got her.. I can't find all my recent gecko pics!!! But this should be mom.

Is the hatchling supposed to look lighter?
