I have two new babies 13 days old. One started eating at day 7 by hand and the other is still refusing. I chopped the heads of meal worms and she licks it when I put it in front of her face and that's it. She refuses to take the worm. No interest at all. Did anyone have one go this long and what can I do to make her have interest. She does love licking.

You can try holding the gecko in one hand and gently pushing the mealworm into its mouth with the other. Hatchlings tend to bite, so it may bite this and eat it. I have had leo hatchlings that never caught on to eating mealworms on their own and had to be hand fed for quite awhile. I eventually had to switch to superworms or crickets for them. Currently I have an AFT hatchling born 3/29 who has not started eating her crickets yet. I'm about to try the mealworm trick with her.
