new leo owner

hey everybody im jml_3 and im new to owning leo's. i have had mine a week and is doing real good now but at first every time i put my hand in the cage it ran out of it's hide and tried to bite me :main_evilgrin: but now it lets me hold him when he wants me to . well anyways i jut wanted to say hi and introduce myself

Welcome to GF. I didn't try handling my first geckos untill I had them about 2 months. I wanted them to get used to me being around me first. They were bought at a Reptile store and were not handled much. Every gecko I bought from a breeder I could handle right away. I only been bit once and it was today while I was cleaning a rescue geckos cage lol.
