New Plant

So I decided to add a plant to my Crestie cage and stopped by the local petco to see what they had. I spotted what I figured would make a perfect crested gecko hide. I have no clue what type of plant it was copied from, but the leafs are wide, flat and nicely layered to provide a nice, cosy place for our guy to sleep.

The plant:

It comes attached to a fake sandstone base which, along with the coconut fiber, gave it a nice low center of gravity to insure it does fall over when he/she gets a bit bigger.

Here's a pic of the tank:

Notice the humid hide in the back right corner, under the new plant? Will crested geckos use humid hides? It's tough to keep the humidity above 50%, so I figured I'd put one in there.

I also buried a little tupperware dish to put the crickets in. It's the one on the left. I didn't like the idea of the crickets hiding within the tank. It's seems to have worked, since the little dummies don't realize that they can just hop out if they liked.

Finally - Here's the reason we got one as a pet:

We decided to make good use of the changing table that we no longer use.

Anyway, as always constructive comments or criticisms are always appreciated.
