Hi I don't know anything about Crested geckos but could it be Hampton is a little stressed due to his move? In time Hampton should relax into his new home and be eating and pooping just fine.

Not only does it take awhile but in all honesty I have crested geckos that I have never seen eat their CGD and it never looks like it's been finished but they are thriving (my cresties range in age from 4 1/2 to 15 1/2 years).
