Hello, so quite a while ago I introduced my female to my male around Feb. 11 I am almost positive I saw them mate the male rattled his tail and everything seemed to be going well. But as of now I took her out and put a lay box in she isn't eating, or really doing anything and I am almost positive her tail is getting skinnier and she is getting a lot more aggressive. She still hasn't laid and I am almost positive she has eggs what should I do? I am getting really worried about her. I could attach a picture if you want. Thank you so much!

Sometimes the first clutch can take a longer time, especially with first time females. Last season, my first clutch took 7 weeks.

I get a bit freaked out when I see tails getting skinnier, too, but it's part of the cycle. They lose a lot of weight while gravid and than eat like crazy and gain it all back and lose it again on the next clutch.
