Not exactly. They do not like to be touched. They are much more sensitive than leos, but they are never bite.

Frankly I do not think they are so diffucult to keep and breed.
I acquired 1 male and 2 females last Christmas, and I have 15 babies this year.
This is my first time to keep Knob Tails, by the way.
