Whether it be newts, turtles, fish.... I'm just too curious!
I'll start with mine, housing 2 fire-belly newts.
I'm getting some floating horn-wort in 2 weeks to add to the look of it.

I believe that "Fred" is gravid.

Cool. Do you hatch them like frogs eggs?
I rember doing that as a kid, going to the swamp and finding frog eggs and bringing them home and setting the tadpoles free.

Yup, but I think I'll let them hatch in the larger tank, take out the larva, and give them to this organisation called Save the Salamanders.

Yeah! I'm thinking of keeping 3 or 4 larva if Fred ends up laying, one for myself and the other 2 or 3 I'll sell to people or my local pet shop(non-chain).
