My gecko looks dirty, I have been looking at this for a while I admit she was bought from a pet store. Her tail in one spot is slightly brown. she eats and poops well. is this a probelm? Btw some yellow scales r brownish

How are your temps? Could she be dark from being too cold?

If she is eating and pooping, I would consider she is doing fine. Perhaps it is just her look? Lighting, temperature, and substrate color may all contribute to how a gecko looks. When I had my tang girl under bright light and black substrate, she was like mud color.

she didn't poop last night. Normally she always does. she is active and respoding but I dont know =s if she doesnt go before I come home then i'll be worried.

What substrate was the gecko housed on in the store? Some dyed sand can stain the gecko's feet/legs, and underside. If so, it should come off with the next shed.
