Lost the skinny baby lastnight, not sure what happened, he ate last night as normal but was gone this morning. I have to admit I am heart broken.

Omg. It's so sad, I heard you talking about how good he was doing. Some times things just get better, and some times things just get worse. You did great, don't feel bad. He enjoyed his last days with you being taken care of by some one who cared, Thats all he wanted in the end

Thats really sad to hear. Maybe he might have had a disease or infection..? Dont blame yourself though, you did a great thing and he was happy and well fed in the end of his life.

so because i am a freak lol and was beating myself up i had a little necropsy done on hedwig, there was nothing wrong with him other than how skinny he was. vet said i just got too late he was too far gone, but he passed warm and with a full tummy. thanks all for the support.
