Shipping during the winter months

What is everyone's guidelines on shipping during the winter? I know SYR guidelines are nothing below 38 degrees.

So, if you ship directly to a Fed Ex hub to be held for pickup, do you only ship if daytime temps are above 38 degrees?

Yes, because I get concerned about the amount of time the geckos may be on the truck or waiting to be unloaded from somewhere. Also at this time of year I use a 40 hour heat pack.

Hopefully, the coldest weather will be over before I need to ship. I have used the heat packs in the past, but they always worry me.
