Shipping to Puerto Rico??

I have a gentleman who wants me to ship leopard geckos to Puerto Rico via USPS. Is this legal? How would it be done considering customs?

Definitely don't ship ANY live animal via USPS. They are HORRIBLE as far as carriers for reptiles go.

Yes, it would be illegal for you to ship out of the country without an export license. You need to obtain one, or find an exporter to legally ship out of the country. Plus, you need to know the laws of each country you ship to - many of them require health certificates of the animals being shipped.
