Just wondering how big should a lay box be? Im gunna use vermiculite and was just wondering how big and tall of a lay box i should get, as well as how much vermiculite to put in it.

For single females, something around 6 inches L X 4 inches wide X 4 inches High is good. For more than one female, a standard 6 quart plastic shoe box is perfect. You want 2-3 inches of laying medium. A note about vermiculite, leos have been known to eat it, and that can lead to impaction. I would consider using a safer substrate, such as paper towels, coco fiber, or sphagnum moss instead.

how would you use paper towels? Id be worried a bout them rolling around no?

rolling around? You take sheets of paper towel, 2-4, wet them, and put them in the box. If you mean eggs rolling around you could use coco fiber or moss for females. Paper towels for males and non-laying females. Leopard gecko eggs don't really roll, they are soft when laid and are not round.
