So I'm looking into different enclosures for my future gecko. I plan on getting an adult male from a local breeder. I was looking at a front open terrarium that's 36x18x18 for almost 200. That's a little expensive but I've been reading on this forum and alot of people use a 10 gallon but they say minimum 20 gallons. I want to have a nice size enclosure for him to explore and thrive in. But I didn't know if there were alternative options or if 200 was pretty much the normal price for the size. There's an option for a 36x18x12 high. If 12 inches is tall enough? The photo I attached is the 36x18x12. Also if I go with this option what size heating pad do I get for under the tank?
