termometer to pair with a hova bator

What's the best inexpensive kind to go with? and is it a good idea to put a hydro meter in the incubator too?

Any thermometer will do. I use a cheap $1 fish tank thermometer. No need to get fancy, and I prefer using liquid rather than electronic thermometers in case batteries fail.
