With they way these guys hit their prey, I sure am glad I'm not a cricket. I've actually read that some have damaged their snouts from pouncing too hard and hitting the walls of the enclosure.

Great pic! Yeah man, Uros are VERY serious about their food. But when you're slow moving and an ambush predator it pays to make sure what you grab stays grabbed, lol.

Thanks Ted. I was messing with my new Christmas Camera. That's another thing I love about these guys... they stay still. That's in sharp contrast to leopard geckos, which never stay still at all.

Here's my favorite one of this little shoot... his light was on, so it was washed out, but I toned down the contrast in lightroom to fix it. Gotta love those eyes, man.

Very cool Kevin.... My Uros came in as WC with tender snouts... you would hear them in the next room "grabbing" the crickets!

Nice shots... what camera did you get?
