Hey everyone :)
Here is one of my favorite ways to take photos of my geckos. First, find a nice cup; Sake, wine, beer, or decorative tea cup. Second: Add geckos!
There are only a few for now, but I will take more of everyone soon :)

Excellent photos... tell me more about your background, do you light it? I have a tough time getting clear, bright macro shots.

Gorgeous shots! The cup plays nicely making the gecko really stand out!

Thank you! I actually have a secret to how I get my shots. It does not matter so much as to what camera you use, but how you use it. I shot these with some bad cameras, and a SLR Canon. I only use natural lighting, pretty much never with lamps unless it is dark outside. My ISO is almost always on 64 or 100 and I back way far away from the set and use a very low flash (depending, most of the time I do not) and zoom in.

As for the background, I just found some large smooth paper and had it curve to create an "unlimited" effect. If you experiment I am sure you will find what works for you :)
