I had 2 Johnson thermostats in a box in my basement. Of course with my luck, a pipe leaks and the box gets soaked. I'm not even sure how long the box has been wet. I'm a little iffy to try and see if they still work. I figured they're doomed for. Any of you think they'd still work? Maybe if i rewired them?

you can get silica gel from craft shops which is used for drying flowers. it absorbs moisture quite effectively. seal them in a bag with the silica gel for a couple days and give 'em a try!

a hair dryer can also be put to use to dry them out if you can open the enclosure.

good luck!
