what paints are you using or does anyone know of safe paints to use that dont peel easy. also any water proof paints out there that dont peel and are non toxic?

I got mine from hobby lobby. I dont know if you could consider it safe enough to put in water. It might start chipping off after a while but Im sure there is some out there that you can use.

do you know what types of paint are pet safe in general, like what type of paint is it that you used?

I just read the can. If it says non toxic when dry, i use it.

I also seal it with polyurethane when i'm done painting it...

i use acrylic cheap paint because i always seal my structures with a non toxic sealant (like mod podge or a tile sealer). it makes it a heck of a lot easier to clean and makes the structure last way longer
