Tokay Trio???

Can tokays be kept in trios? 1 male 2 female??

Yes, if you have a big enough enclousure. Try to get them all at the same time if possible, that way they are use to being together.

I have a bonded pair already, there is someone selling a female for a pretty good price in my area and I was thinking of getting it, but I''m not sure how my pair would react.

well, you can try it,just be prepared to seperate them in the case of them fighting. I would defently make sure to quaritine the new female first, do want to introduce her to you pair if she has parasites etc.. When you decide to introduce them, I would reccomend changing the cage out and stuff and then put them all together, that way its new to all of them. I did that when I introduced a pair awhile back and it worked great. Good luck

I have kept 1.4 to 1.6 in a 55 gallon but I stand it up tall ways with the top being the front and lots of plants. I plan to redo that tank and get more tokays this year.

Generally $15-20 for WCs, which is what your mainly going to see. If you get a CB one, it will run you more.
