I found this big guy with some others in a downtown Tokyo park early last month. I'm pretty sure it's a toad and not a frog, but does anyone know exactly what it is? It looks like this one - http://www.rieo.net/amph/frog/jpnhiki.htm, but according to that webpage, it doesn't live this far north/east. Based on the range alone, it could be one of these - http://www.rieo.net/amph/frog/azuma.htm. Anyway, it was a neat find while walking through the park in the dark.
