Ventiliation

Hi all! I have a question about ventilation on tub setups. Is it easier to keep in humidity with mesh screening on the sides versus the top? I have a tub with top ventilation and I'm having trouble keeping humidity in. Thanks!

For me I have all of my screens on the side and it seems to do well for holding humidity.
