Website headaches

So I've been trying to design and then redo a website for awhile now. I haven't found 1 company that works well for what I need. 1 place will have preset templates(hate them) but have a integrated shopping cart... others will have more design options but less e-commerce items. Anyone have a decent place that can host a website and not suck?
