Yeah that's a cool idea to post them on your blog :main_yes:.

That way you have some type of online documentation of their weight and growth rate. You can compare each month or so, however often you document their weight and size. :main_robin:

What model scale are you using to weigh them?

Eric, I have a little US Magnum 1000 XR jewelry scale. It was one of the least expensive 0.1g scales that I could find on Amazon. It is a little small (fits in a pocket) but works good with a small plastic container placed on it and the gecko in the container. Even the 71.1 g one fit but he could have escaped easily too.

I weigh my geckos with a "My Weigh 7001DX series". its a 1g to 7000g scale and came with a perfectly sized clear tub to put the geckos in. they could get out if they really really wanted to but they never have before. weighing them to the nearest gram is accurate enough for me. overall a very nice scale and weighs in several different units.

my geckos weights:

Marian (normal): 77 g
Ilya (blizzard): 58 g
Colby (tremper jungle): 38 g

Very Nice, and you have some good sized Leo's there. Any pics of them?

I have used it to weight substrate but right now i am not breeding. going to get into breeding once i get all my tanks set up and buy my incubator. I made sure the scale could weigh substrate so i could use it for the purposes of breeding and its very easy to use and easy to read. fits right in my pocket too. i have compared it to old school science scales (got a free one from a teacher) and its very accurate, had no problems with it.

funny enough i got my scale at a porn store in the headshop section where they sell 'smoking' supplies. so i guess its very good in the use of a wide range of items/weights.
