weird thing

so question...my leopard gecko is 3yrs old. she has never been with any others. today all of a sudden there is a weird looking (mike n' ike) shaped thing, that just appeared. I do not know what this is. it has never happened before. can anyone help me out on what this may be?

She laid an egg. Some female geckos lay eggs even if there's no male. In the case of a leopard gecko it will be infertile (some people call them "slugs"). Some of my leopard geckos have done that the the crested and gargoyle geckos do it every year.

thankyou so much. she has never done that and is 3yrs old. just thought it was odd.

My leachie gecko (that I thought was male) laid a few eggs at the age of 5 and now, at 10 hasn't done it since.
