My leopard gecko ambient temperature is 69 degrees Fahrenheit. I know that's way too cold. I need an additional heat source. I have a heat pad setup with a thermostat and I can't buy another thermostat so no ceramic heat emitters. I was thinking zoo meds nightlight red or moonlight bulb but I need to know the wattage and if it's suitable. I just need to bring the ambient temperature up, it is not a basking or primary heat source. Thank you.

I would go with the moonlight bulb, they can see red. I think the smallest wattage is 25, that should be enough to get the ambient air temperatures up. If not the 40W should do it.

No higher than 80* on the warm side. The cool side can stay a little low.

Right now without an additional heat source, mine hover between 74-78*, I keep my house at 69* in the winter.
