I don't understand whats taking so long, my first pair of eggs from my normalxTremper is taking forever to hatch. It's incubating at about 81-82 but there is a little variation and I was told this could cause it to take longer. But it's just taking forever, today is day 87 since they were laid, they still look fine and white and when candled they are more or less all black.... but when will they hatch? :main_angry:

My eggs incubated at 81-82 have always hatched by day 63 and as early as day 49. I have heard of other situations where there was a very long hatch time. There still is a possibility that the eggs are no good, but for now, I guess you're just going to have to wait. Good luck.

Candling doesn't work with eggs that old. I've heard it can take up to 110 days to hatch especially with lower temperatures.

Most of my eggs at 83 hatch out around day 50 (average). I hope they hatch for you. Good luck!
