When can I cut the egg?

I have an egg that has dimpled. When can I take a look? Or should I leave the gecko to come out?

It is my first egg.

Leave it, trust me. If the gecko's meant to survive, it'll come out strong on its own. If it isn't, you'd just be pushing it out there prematurely or cutting open an egg with a hatchling that can't survive. It's best just to wait it out.

The waiting game is ridiculous, but in the end it's worth it to see that healthy strong hatchling
