Where do leopard geckos lay their eggs in the wild? In a burrow or above ground?

The female will seek out a place where the temp is around 31d if i remember correctly.
usually in a burrow or in amongst a rocky area. somewhere safe and warm which is why built up rocky areas are good as inside a rock mound will keep warmth for quite some time.

could be wrong, im not as up on leos as other members here.
