I have a 30 long. I was wanting to turn it up on its side, so it was ...30 tall. Then build a wooden frame around it and make a front door, were the "top" was originally. Would that house a male and female? I know Ive read alot, and everything says like 20 gallon is good for 2, but I would rather have more room than not enough.

I have a male and female in a 29 and they are doing great!

I wonder if a 29 would be better? I was thinking and mabey a 30 stood up might be to skinny?

I think either will be fine

29 Gallon 30 1/4L x 12 1/2W x 18 3/4H
30 Gallon 36 1/4L x 12 5/8W x 16 3/4H

There isn't that much different in height and yours is wider than mine.
