I know they are bad for ball python eggs, but are they ok with leopard gecko eggs? (with a extra thermostat like a herpstat/ helix set up with it, not just the built in one.) Have you used them with success, or should i just build my own?
I would prefer to buy a hovibator, but if i have to build by own, then fine, no problem.

Yes they are fine with Leo eggs. As long as it is connected to a proportional thermostat, not the fan type. Or not the egg turner type.

hobovators are fantastic little incubators, just set them up with a good thermostat like the helix and you are set! i used them for years with awesome success!

dont worry. we are here to help and a hovobator is a good choice for a first or even a ninth year breeder. i am hoping to upgrade this year because of the amount of eggs i might be having.
