I'm finding it terribly difficult to find much about these guys and their proper care... any help would be LOVELY!!!

when I got him he had no water and looked(still does) very thin, you can practically see every rib and he was(is still) very dark, almost black, and is almost a little blue around the extremities, his light looks pretty ghetto, I've moved him to a new taller and nicer tank and gave him 5(probably a lot but the poor guy/girl(?) looked to hungry... and i misted his tank with a spray bottle.
hopefully he comes around... he already looks a fair bit happier! :)

Are you sure that's what it is? From what I've found, they're quite rare in captivity. I just know that sometimes people aren't sure of what reptile they have, so if you got it from a person, they might be incorrect.

I couldn't find much on their care except average humidity levels, so unless you can find someone who works with them (try finding a breeder to ask?), your best bet is probably to just care for it like a common house gecko (care sheet for them: House Gecko Care Sheet). Hopefully someone on here can give you some more specialised advice. Also, make sure there are lots of places to hide so that it can feel more secure.

If it's that bad of shape though, a vet visit would be a good idea. Has it eaten?
