My first leo was a mack snow as well. A few weeks after having lil Zelda, I realized that she was really a he as well. His name is now Zell. Haha! Congrats on your first leo. :D

Heating pads, also known as under tank heaters, are what you should use for leos. They require belly heat in order to be able to properly digest their food. Lamps are a bad idea because leos are nocturnal and the light stresses them out. If you want one for viewing I suggest a red bulb.

I have 3 adults (2 males; 1 female). Zell was orginally Zelda, but then developed bulges. Haha! And 8 hatchlings (hopefully all female, but who knows with snows). For a total of 11. I also have 2 eggs in the incubator.

I'm in the same boat, and have an inverter (car lighter plug to outlet thingy). And I'm just going to put the incubator on my passenger seat, seatbelt and plug it in and monitor temps.
