2 month old - can I use only 2 hides?

Hello,

I have a 2 month old leo coming - I have a 10 gallon tank and wanted to know if I could have a dry hot hide, and then use my cool hide to double as my moist hide. Or, do I need hot, cool, and moist separate?:main_huh:

All you need is a warm hide placed over the area of the UTH and a moist hide placed on the opposite "cool" side of the tank. 2 hides total.

once the leo gets bigger i'd get a 20 - 40 gallon tank!! bigger is better!! a 10 gallon is redic. small!!!

That is a matter of opinion, I believe. I had my leo in a 10 gallon tank and then moved her to a 20 gallon tank and she uses less space that in the 10 gallon tank. Down grading her to either a bin of a half height 15 gallon.
