Today I went to feed Lana a Dubia and she took the first one just fine the second one she didn't even bother eating after it knocked over the calcium dish, fell into her mealworm dish and took a ride on her tail.
Since the roach knocked over the calcium on to the kraft paper I thought I'd just switch it out and put in Paper Towels with her still in the tank. So as I was doing that I laid my hand on the floor to flatten out the paper when all of a sudden Lana walts up, lays down on my hand and looks at me with the cutest face. I picked her up and she continued to walk from hand to hand peacefully with trying to run off. This might not seem like a BIG thing to anyone else but this is the first time she's even done that. She's a pretty shy leo and for the first few months saw my fingers as giant mealworms, then she would just shy away and I'd basically pick her up against her will. Almost a year later and she freely walked onto my hand and didn't run for the hills.
She sure made my day!
