My about 5-6 inch leopard gecko (i think is a female) i bought today is constantly licking the calcium dish. When it licks it, it won't stop! Is this normal?

As long it is plain calcium no d3 she will be fine. Once she licks enough and doesn't have enough d3 she will not be able to process the calcium. Just make sure you dust with calcium d3. My male does the same thing and he is perfectly fine. I just make sure to dust with d3 at least once a week. Whenever I put a new cap of calcium he always runs to it and starts licking it like crazy. But they will take the calcium they need and maybe she just feels low on calcium.
