Hey all! How's everyone? okay so a little backround.. here are my geckos.. ive had the two females for almost a year now.. just picked up the male bell albino this past weekend at an expo.

I know i know i have them on sand.. i was going to change that up, but i feel confident about having them on it now.. they've been on it for a year.. spoke with a few breeders that gave me some confidences about having them on it.... was given a guarantee if any of my geckos were to get sick they would pay for the vet bills.

anyways... i plan on breeding them.. definitely need some advice!

on to the pics... there's a lot of them! :)

enjoy!

ok. 3 problems.
1. sand could hurt the geckos
2. if the those are live cacti they could hurt the geckos
3. if thats a heat rock it could hurt the geckos

but the rest is good :)

I liked the look of sand too, and kept leopards on sand for years, and only one gecko had problems.
Without it, cleaning is so much simpler.
I've only seen 1 gecko eat the sand, and it might be because the sand was white, and the gecko thought it was calcium.
Do whatever you want, its your set up.

I think we should stop being critics, if we think there is a problem then we could pm the person but I don't think it needs to be done publicly. So, Welcome to the community there are a lot of people here that know a lot about this hobby and I hope that we can also learn some things from you as well. Great looking geckos.

Welcome to the forums. I love your male, I especially like the pic where he is on top of the two girls with that look like "this is my harem" Good luck with them they are all real cuties.

ok, so dont ditch the sand, but what type sand is that? It doesnt look like the type ive seen used in the reptile trade before? Do you really have Cati in your gecko tank?!!!
On the other hand those 2 normals are NIce! Dont get to see nice normals very often!
