Those are some beautiful snakes.

There is no such thing as a 10' Crotalus Horridus (timber rattlesnake)
The largest Horridus on record is 6' 2 1/2" most are 3-4'.
The largest rattle snake ever found was a Crotalus Adamateus that was just over 8' long. I keep and breed both. This is a fish story for sure.

That's really nice, but neglecting the fact that there are indeed much bigger timbers than 8 in the wild is ridiculous... Given the space, resources, and lack of predators anything can grow tremendously over time. Thats why most of the time "fish stories" can be very valid

Those Gaboons are awesome. If you ever get the chance I would visit the Waco TX zoo. It's small but its my favorite zoo EVER. They have a HUGE Gaboon in a naturalistic exhibit there and its color is unusually stunning. If that snake was cute and cuddly and harmless it would be in my collection already....haha

What kind of permits (if any) do you need to own those?

Is that all your pets? Wow, what a collection. Keeping pets like this is a risk in house. But anyway this is awesome. Post a photo of your pygmy rattler when you can……
