I haven't had the sore throat like Jeremy has, but I knew pretty quickly on that I at least broke out into a rash so I tried to stay away from them as much as I could. The only thing I can figure is the tiny little hairs on their feet and my skin just don't get along, but I don't know a whole lot about the feet to judge. The red marks are definitely a sign of an allergy, but like with everything some people have it worse than others. If the redness doesn't really bother you too much, I wouldn't worry about it.
I would say that the sneezing is from the mealworms, because I have the same problem. It's usually a big slap in the face for me to change their substrate since I'm ok as long as it's mostly food and not a whole lot of poop.
