I've got a pair of wild caughts that I've had for 2 years. Shes laid almost 25 eggs and they had pink spots when I incubated them. The issue is the eggs go bad within the first 3 weeks or so. I have them cooking at 83 degrees with my leos eggs. They're in moist vermiculite. I'm contemplating...

    Little off topic

Depending on the rating on the bulb if its a 5.0 I'd say minimum of 12 hours. 10.0 you could get by with 8-10 hours. In the summer you can take them outside and in a half hour they get the equivalent of 12 hours of 10.0...It helps the electric bill...

Just a quick question (Crestie related) ....Opinnions GREATLY appreciated!

I keep my quartets in 29 gals. tanks. Never had a fight or an issue. What I would do though is plan on multiple feeding stations. I would feel comfortable with 8 females in a tanks that large and well planted and branched. I would plan on the mating thing outside of the tank because its too many...

    Seizure.... Urgent!

IF the calcium sacs are full they should be white in color. Black might indicate no calcium. If I were you I'd feed calcium dusted cickets with D3 and put a UVB bulb over the tank to help with absorbtion. Otherwise off to the vet. Good luck!
