Leopard gecko heating

Hello, I have just gotten a leopard gecko and this is my friend time owning one. I tried to google an answer to my question but couldn’t find one. It’s really hott in my house at night, out of my control, and the heat in the enclosure is in the range needed without the nighttime heating, so for summer time is it okay if I don’t have heating bulb/pad over night as long as the temperature stays above what’s needed?

Yes that is fine. It is common practice for leopard gecko owners to turn off heat at night as long as temps stay over 65 degrees in room. Just make sure it is turned back on in morning. You can get a timer for this.
